I worked as a UX Designer on a 12-month consultancy with Westpac, embedded within the Westpac Live team, which manages and enhances it's internet and mobile banking platforms.
The UX chapter within the Westpac Live team included a UX Manager, a UX Lead, and several Senior Experience Designers. The team worked closely with a larger Agile team comprising Product and Technical Managers, Business Analysts, Testers, and Developers.
We operated within quarterly release cycles, delivering new features and product enhancements to the internet banking platforms.
I was responsible for designing experience for following features:
FY Interest Earned
eStatements for Closed Accounts
Change PIN (mobile)
Credit Card Repayment Alerts
Westpac Insurance
For each feature design, the process involved journey mapping, competitor analysis, ideation, wireframing, and user testing. Throughout the design process, I collaborated closely with the engineering team to ensure the proposed solutions were feasible within the current development environment.
I used Axure for wireframing and prototyping. I was also responsible for planning and conducting user testing.
