Overview

Technocrat were chosen to refactor and extend Australia's first major video-on-demand service - Presto. The project required extensive integration with video delivery platforms while building the website with Drupal.

This major exercise required a sophisticated project delivery methodology and cutting edge backend, front-end and UX expertise.

I was part of a team consisted of a project manager, tech lead, UX designer , visual designer and engineers. 

Approach

Project kicked off with a meeting with Presto team to understand objectives and goals of the website redesign.

I conducted a heuristics review of the existing website and competitor analysis into other major streaming platforms such as Netflix, Hulu, HBO and Quickflix.

With the insights from discovery, I crafted templates for key section of the websites. I used Axure for wireframing and prototyping.

Build, test and deliver

Worked closely with the visual designer and engineers to bring concepts to life, ensure quality assurance, and oversee the final production release.
